Martin Pogačar

Martin Pogačar is a researcher at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts' Institute of Culture and Memory Studies. His field of interest includes media memory studies, technology, memory, post-socialism. He is also interested in history and philosophy of technology, particularly on the interplay human: technology: environment in individual and collective uses, and media and political discourses. His recent publications include: "Culture of the Past: Digital Connectivity and Dispotentiated Futures", v Digital memory studies: media pasts in transition (Routledge, 2018), Media Archaeologies, Micro-archives and Storytelling: Re-presencing the Past, (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016).
