Questions about beauty and morality, inspired by Dorian Gray

The Berlin Gob Squad Arts Collective have been calling in at world stages for 25 years. The group is inspired by Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde’s fictional character, who remained young while his portrait aged: he preserved his youth, but at the expense of moral loss. With younger and older performers Gob Squad wants to peep behind the mirror of vanity. Together they search for answers to questions on beauty, morality, ageing and power. Because there’s probably a bit of Dorian in all of us.

“This feels like one of the most impossible, beautiful, courageous and epic theatrical experiences you can imagine.” The Guardian
