SIAMO OVUNQUE: WE ARE EVERYWHERE

July 9 – 10, 2022
Piazza Ganganelli, Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy

Dreams Come True, Hichmoul Pilon Production, collectif anthropie and collettivo Siamo ovunqueNous sommes partout (We Are Everywhere) gathers and amplifies the voice of anti-fascists, feminists, anti-capitalists, anti-racists, anti-speciesists, hackers and people fighting for migrants’ rights and against any form of social oppression, for LGBTQIA+ rights, against ecocides, for the rights of sex workers, against police violence, for the self-determination and emancipation of all workers, against job insecurity, against the current prison system and for the militant occupation “Zone to Defend”. The project originated in Switzerland from an anonymous editorial group that started collecting texts from activists in the French-speaking part of the country and then spread to other countries and contexts.

We Are Everywhere is a collection of emotional and motivational resources: activist stories, tactics, tools and strategies aimed at forming an archive of contemporary activism. We Are Everywhere is a print-on-demand book made available at the lowest possible price. It is also an open-access digital database, constantly updated as the project unfolds. It is an endless series of public collective readings organised wherever possible. We Are Everywhere aims at offering resources and giving people courage by sharing experiences that can help them self-organise, self-educate and find strength and love. It circulates tools, experiences, life stories, and feelings of hope and anger in order to show that WE ARE EVERYWHERE.

Nous sommes partout is a French-speaking Swiss initiative of an editorial committee composed of members of Dreams Come true, Hichmoul Pilon Production and anthropie. The Italian committee is called Siamo Ovunque and is based in Bologna.

Created in 2003 by Yan Duyvendak, the association Dreams Come True encourages and supports the creation and production of artistic projects launched by its members. The projects give the opportunity to practically express ethical and political issues related to the justice system, the reception of immigrants, living together, civil disobedience or collaboration. More than performances, these productions are closer to social psychology and the world of games. The productions tour the world sustainably, minimising travel and relying on locals as much as possible.

Hichmoul Pilon Production is a young company of pluridisciplinary creation (visual arts, theatre, film) based in Geneva. Its productions include the itinerant performance D’amour et d’eau fraîche, presented at the 43rd edition of La Bâtie Festival in Geneva and It is coming, a blend between a contemplative horror movie and a performative stroll.

The collective anthropie is a techno-procastino-insurrectional writing cell operating out of the spotlight, somewhere in Switzerland. The collective usually publishes its texts in open access on its website, but also on paper. Each text is then transposed into video/graphic capsules, performances, pirate appropriations of urban spaces or digital performances. These projects have been presented in different self-managed spaces in Switzerland, France and Portugal. All the contents are free of rights and elude intellectual property laws.

The editorial collective Siamo Ovunque was founded in Bologna in 2021 to start collecting texts related to the namesake project. It defines its activity as an artistic-militant intervention freely moving between theatre, writing and the web to spread and support the voices of those fighting for a world without oppression. The collective wants to build a space of reflection and exchange for grassroots political practices and strategies.
