Noorderzon Festival of Performing Arts and Society is the somewhat curious combination of a cutting-edge international art festival and a large-scale summer fest for 135,000 visitors in Groningen. Unfortunately our 2020 edition was cancelled, but instead the Noorderzon crew are presenting six weeks of NoorderZomerProgramma.
Among this alternative summer programme there are various Create to Connect -> Create to Impact projects: an online performance by Simon Senn 16th – 18th July, live performances by Karel Hermans from 3rd to 7th August, Johannes Bellinkx – 14th – 16th August, Mats Staub from 14 to 23 August, collective WERC & Very Theatre on 22 and 23 august as well as an artistic residency by Yan Duyvendak and 7 Lectures in the Arts and Society programme.
